Menu

Description

Access to healthcare is critical for people with disabilities, but often many barriers exist. This webinar will review how the courts have impacted the ADA’s application to healthcare. Topics will include effective communication, accessible medical facilities and equipment, and service animals in healthcare facilities. In addition to reviewing specific court decisions and settlement agreements, this session will also identify trends and potential issues for future ADA healthcare-related litigation. Barry Taylor, Vice President for Civil Rights and Systemic Litigation, Equip for Equality, and Rachel Weisberg, Staff Attorney, Equip for Equality, will present on this Great Lakes ADA Center webinar at 1:00 PM Central Time Zone on May 22, 2019.

CLE credit will available via Equip for Equality.
